Spoilers for YJ:I “Intervention”
I will not be able to get over this episode (even with the lack of a good Bluepulse moment)
Okay first can I just say how awesome Zatanna is? She practically butt whooped everyone. Aha, maybe backwords talking is her native tongue. Rocket and Batgirl performed reasonably as well (I mean they were really awesome too that I can’t exactly describe it so you can have that)
Bart, omg you worked so hard for you hermano. Defending Jaime from Tim’s jab. And when he hesitates before he says, “…Ya know, before he conquers the earth and slaves all mankind.” Now that I’m rewatching the episode, I’m sure he says that because of his unfortunate future, but I couldn’t help take it as a Bluepulse needy thing when I first heard it. Sorry. Anyway, Bart. You managed to keep your mouth shut for months, used yourself as a decoy to capture Blue, and you were able to get Jaime back to his old self. Let me just say, I swear he was going to hug Bart. But no. He got ignored. A hug for Zatanna is awesome since she’s the one who practically cured him, but from a Bluepulse shippers stand point was slightly sad without it. But then again, this show isn’t really about those two :’D
Fandom don’t kill me yet.
Speaking of which, since Jaime is off mode, back to his old self, and now the League has a cure for the scarab, do you think Bart is going to leave now? I just have a lot of feels for Bart. ;-;
Enough about him, move on to Blue Beetle. Haha, Jaime’s humor definitely shed some light on this angsty show. I knew Khadji Da was good on the inside. They learned something about each other. They would rather deal with each other in partnership rather than be slaves of the Reach. Well, I love that we heard about the Blue Beetles’ pasts. It was kinda cool how everything fell into place like that. Also, good for Green Beetle.
And I just want one little spot to talk about M’gann and Lagann. I feel a little bad for Lagann, but M’gann definitely did the right thing. I don’t want her to get back with Conner so quickly, but at the pace the shows going it might be in about 2 episodes. Or it might not happen at all and I’m okay with that. After all “No, isn’t about you. Or him. It’s about me.”
