The 2011Cadillac Converj Concept ELR is the dream of many lovers Cadillac that the company trying to launch the new car. The Company tries to invent a new Cadillac car innovation that is environmentally friendly because fuel consumption is not the power of gas, but electric. Without the use of gasoline, is the modern car, which has a wonderful system of energy. Electricity is the main resource to drive this car and the car is the efficiencies without using gasoline.

You guys may have heard of the Cadillac Escalade Hybrid..

… but theres a new car! Introducing the Cadillac Converj (a.k.a. the ELR). This car is Caddy’s brand new plug-in hybrid concept.

 I just finished reading an article in Reuters that states that not only is Cadillac’s electric vehicle, the ELR (formerly called Converj), going into production, its sales price will be about $50 grand.  Which means the ELR is going to be selling for less than half the cost of the only other luxury EV, the Fisker Karma, and just $10 grand more than the Chevy Volt.  Granted that’s still a lot of money, but considering it’s in the same price range as the coupe versions of the CTS, BMW M3, and a Mercedes E class, it’s fairly competitively priced… assuming the performance is similar.  Besides, wouldn’t you want to be the first kid on your block with this 21st century car?

По существу серийная версия концепта Converj, ELR будет роскошным купе, которое сочетает в себе «драматический дизайн с ведущим в отрасли расширенным диапазоном». Пока нет информации о технических характеристиках, но Cadillac объявил ранее, что автомобиль оборудован электромотором, литий-ионными батареями и 4-цилиндровым двигателем-генератором.
