Dutch-Australians - (in NSW) - Let us gather somewhere convenient!

amplify.com

Consider the concept of facilitating the establishment of a ‘Hub’ where Dutch-Australian historical archives can be kept for future reference. Where those that are interested may come and research their ‘Dutch connections’. A place where displaying exhibits of art and records, photographs and perhaps verbal stories of immigration experiences, here in Australia, is facilitated.
This HUB can also become a focal point of the ‘Dutch’ connection – past or future. This is to be a place for everyone who has an interest in Dutch connections in common.
Approximately 100 – 150m2 would be sufficient (for now)as space. The HUB should be located centrally, and easily accessible by both private and public transport. The HUB to be owned ‘by everyone’, held in trust for future generations.
You are invited to consider this project.

When I Buy Frozen Food

When I shop I usually buy a bunch of food I need to prepare or make in some way. I also buy some frozen food cause it’s easy to make. However, I always eat all of the frozen food first and I end up having to make all of my meals until I shop again…

Making mac ‘n’ cheese gets tedious real quick…

Our weekly Kanauan.

“Jesus said to him, ‘Foxes have holes and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.’

Do you really want to follow Jesus? And be like Him who doesn’t have a nice, cozy place to stay? Jesus reminds us that as Christians, we are to be unsettled. Not to be satisfied with what is convenient, familiar, or safe. But to reach and go for more, to speak and fight for what is right and just. Even if it means losing others’ approval.”

This really spoke to me. Now I wish to share it with all of you. I pray it fills your cup with knowledge and understanding. Have a great week!

Ahh this site is so cool!

beerfortextbooks.com

Read about it in the school newspaper today. haha. So you put in the ISBM number and you click your favorite beer. It’ll compare what price different book sites are willing to buy you book at as well as how much that’s worth in beer.

It’s a way easier way to find the best place to sell back books than going to each website.
