Super Hero Films

Christopher Nolan Batman films are interesting but Bruce Wayne has no powers. So Spiderman 2 is still a top fav for “super” stuff. Iron Man is cool but I can’t watch it multiple times like Spiderman. Plus most of these comic films have story holes. Or have very limited aesthetics.

I’m enjoying Captain America: 1st Avenger. Now there are multiple scenes I would change. And better writing was needed. But overall I think it was decent enough. We’ll see how the sequel fairs next year. Again, like in Thor, cheap green screen is used. But the humanity of Steve Rodgers is very apparent. His convictions lie in what he lacks initially. Thus he is theoretically the most empathetic hero. Plus those old time bomber jackets are so cool. Spiderman 2 has the greatest comic book movie opening. But I would imagine the title to be taken soon. Or at least if Paramount gets better. The casting in Captain America was ideal too. Chris Evans was cool. Kinda Tobey McGuireish. Tommy Lee Jones was great. Hayley Atwell is ol girl? She’s an attractive white woman. Because its a time period piece the music was whatever too. The ending of Captain America was used in 2 other recent comic book movies (avoiding spoilers). That’s kinda whatever. Hollywood just recycles.

Whenever there is a comic book film made where the majority of the film is shot for shot taken from the panels of the actual comics, all we ever get is complaints about how bad the movie is (Watchmen, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World) and this is why we end up with shitty hollywood versions of these beloved comics. (Spiderman 3, Elektra, Ghost Rider, Superman Returns etc) and what really bothers me is that most of these complaints are from “reviewers” and a lot of you people are tumblr uses so don’t even hide bitches, who don’t even turn pages of comics, just heard the names before, so before you judge these films at least have more than just a simple idea of the source, cause when you don’t and complain, we end up with crap.
