Printed Matters

Another venture into mixing prints.  This one is seems on hyper drive compared to my other attempts but the same color story (I feel) ties things in. Decided to leave out the accessories since there’s a lot going on as it is.

Wasn’t quite sure about getting the polka-dotted palazzo pants since it seemed quite indulgent, but at the same time, the maximalist in me was drawn to it.  Bold print, volume and length.  All right then.  You’re coming home with me :)

Finally took out my pink with cut-out hearts (or four leaf clovers, I think) bolero out for a spin…and just when you thought you’d stop seeing the bungee bracelets, here they are again! :))

Bolero: H&M. Jeans & Camisole: Mango. Shoes: Louboutin (from eBay). Bag: Longchamp. Bungee Bracelets: Rex Clothing.

These were photos taken last Saturday where I did everything I wanted which was to spend the whole day eating then jumped into bed and watched Game of Thrones.  Below are just a few photos of the feast we had in Spirals.  Believe me, we tried a lot more food that this:

Fresh Oyster Station

The Foie Gras station which I think is a new addition.  It wasn’t there late last year when I went to Spirals

Spiral’s famous chocolate chip cookies

The wine & champagne cart which I avoided this time.  The first time I went to Spirals was for Sunday brunch buffet.  This included free-flowing champagne which I took advantage of (I think this is an understatement) and like a spaz, I think I downed too many and got drunk in the first hour :)) Niko was laughing at how I was staring at a plateful of delicious food and whining about how I wanted to eat it but couldn’t!

Sometimes I wish there were more days like this though it would be detrimental to my health :)) No set plans yet for today.  What about you?  How are you spending this weekend?

Hello everyone :) Aren’t you glad it’s the weekend?  I have a good number of errands to do today but I’m still quite happy to do them at a leisurely pace.  What are your plans today?

So I’m not running errands looking like this.  Haha.  This is an outfit taken last week when I watched Cirque du Soleil’s Varekai.  It was FANTASTIC!  The stunts were a given, but the production (lights, costumes, music, props…oohh the props) were  AMAZING!  If you’re in Manila, I hope you are still able to catch it since tomorrow’s their last day.

Now on to the topic at hand.  As advised by my friend Dianne of Snappy Traveler, I recently joined Lookbook and Chictopia and if you’re on it, please add me (Lana Tiotuyco)  I’m not yet adept in using it and I still get confused with the hyping, voting, following, etc (Oh God I’m a dinosaur, I know) but it’d be cool if you can send some pointers along my way.

Hope you have a great weekend :)
