I get really sad about the fact that there are probably many people around me who have experienced rape or almost-rape situations yet can’t talk about it or don’t recognize it as rape because of rape culture.

what I’m working on is a paper for my political science class and my topic is LGBTQ rights. More specifically, on gay marriage.

We’re suppose to focus on a policy problem and come up with two policy solutions.

I’m focusing on DOMA and how that law is withholding some federal benefits to same-sex marriages.

I’m trying to come up with policy solutions to this and I need arguments that can back up my solutions, or that doesn’t back up my solutions.
