James literally made a ukulele handle. He started from a block of wood that was just block-shaped, and he used nothing but his own skill to fashion a perfect ukulele handle.
I couldn’t draw a ukulele handle. James cut and carved and lathed (maybe? I don’t know v much about woodworking) a solid block of wood until it exactly represented a ukulele handle in three dimensions.
I’m just finding this a little hard to take in.
