“Suffering is glamorized and it’s overrated and its been glamorized for too long. Its been hyped therefore people feel that to be interesting enough and inspiring enough of an artist you have somehow have had to have suffered. Everybody suffers, just being alive is suffering; being alive is also very beautiful so it depends how you use those things. I think it’s a dangerous game to glamorize artistic suffering.”
