I JUST got home from seeing these guys, and it was goddamned AMAZING. They track out their chiptunes on two NESes and then play backup/harmony to them as a four-piece rock outfit. I can’t even believe how awesome it was seeing them do it live—it was like suddenly understanding every regional or colloquial variant slang for greatness because sometimes you need to redefine everything to express how amazing something is.
