Sign upChevron Nail Tutorial:
First time making a tutorial for nails so bear with me… I also apologize for the crappy iPhone photos. As requested by getnailedd.
Step 1: Paint le nail. I chose to use Sally Hansen’s White Tip.

Step 2: Clean up around the nail with a super thin brush — mine has been attacked by acetone a few times.

Step 3: TAPE. Cut up your piece of tape into a chevron shape. Try and use the same piece of tape for all of your Vs because as you cut it will help keep your chevron pattern even as you go up the nail.

Step 4: Apply the tape (I used the same tape I had on the left hand) onto your now dry nail.

Step 5: Paint over tape with black polish. I used Rimmel’s Black Satin. Try using just one coat as two coats will be too thick and may smudge when removing the tape. Slowly remove tape IMMEDIATELY after painting. If you leave it on for too long the paint will begin to dry and it will stretch like mozzarella cheese when removing the tape.

Repeat Step 2 if needed to clean up any black polish that may have found it’s way onto your skin.
Hopefully your chevron turned out something like this:
