Maya maya dumating sila mommy. “Oh Shai oh. Kain ka na. Aalis kami eh.” Pagkabukas ko ng plastic cheese burger from burger king! HOOORAY! :)))) =)))) Parang tuloy akong naglilihi. OMYGAS.
It's about the journey, not the destination.
My tip of the day :)
I was feeling really down today. I don’t work out at a gym - just at home. Well, today I went to the gym to try something new and was a little embarrassed bc I didn’t know how the machines worked and my only real experience with something like that was circuits at Curves so you have to switch machines after one set. I found out it’s not the same at a gym - you look like a goof ball doing that. That and there were just a bunch of really tough Army guys using ridiculous weights and me with measly weights.
Needless to say I came home feeling bad and really wanted like a burger and fries to make things even worse. Well I had a boca burger on a deli flat w/a tomato and laughing cow chipotle cheese and then cucumbers and hummus instead of fries. And then I got a pep talk from my amazing husband.
I’m stressed about all of these dates coming up. Foster the People concert this weekend, the beach in August, ACL in September… all things I wanted to look and feel amazing for and even though I’ve made a ton of progress (38 pounds since March!), I’m no freaking Miranda Kerr yet.
I really need to stop focusing on my goal weight or goal body. I need to enjoy the journey and celebrate accomplishments as they come, not just stay focused on something in the future.
Well, with that being said I must sleep so I can workout in the morning bc tomorrow night is all about TRANSFORMERS with my son!!!
