Hello!

Tumblr is where tens of millions of creative people around the world share and follow the things they love.

It feels like it's been such a long journey for some fans, and it hasn't even truly begun.

It’s only been, what, almost seven episodes, tons of outtake videos and diaries, and some nights spent on tumblr?

It’s absolutely amazing how emotionally invested we get into these types of things, but I’m glad I did.

Many of you were already fans of Glee when you started watching The Glee Project season 2 and wanted to see who would carry the weight of making season 4 just as memorable as the three seasons that preceded it. Some of you might have just stumbled upon it as you surfed channels one night and became intrigued. Others might’ve seen GIFs or posts on Tumblr and decided to see what all the hubbub was about. No matter how we did, we started watching and eventually became fans.

We’ve laughed, cried, jammed out, fangirled along with Zach Woodlee (God bless that man), screamed at our television screens, made peanut butter milkshakes and even threatened to pee on Ryan Murphy for various reasons. We’ve seen snippets of growth, snippets of romance and conflict, snippets of people just like us, living the dream and working for an even bigger dream.

And that dream isn’t just to be on Glee.

That dream is to epitomize Glee. Glee, for fans, is an escape. It’s not just a dramedy musical television show that comes on once a week. It shows us real-life problems and issues and how people can work through them while doing what they love best- singing and dancing.

All in all, it gives us hope and inspires us.

Because those people that just graced your screen are just like us; they’ve been inspired by the music and the characters of that show, and who doesn’t want to take an opportunity to do it too?

No matter who you’ve rooted or are rooting for, that person or those people have already accomplished a part of that dream- they’ve already inspired you. Yes, the show is edited like crazy (come on, people, it’s reality TV), but that’s another great thing- from the little you know about them, they’ve gotten your attention, your support and in some cases, your heart.

And another thing- the hate. At some points, it’s gotten out of hand and it’s a little ridiculous. You may not like a person for their attitude, their voice, their personality, their look, but just like you, they are human, and they have dreams too. Don’t be a douchebag towards someone just because they don’t touch you the way they have touched others’ hearts. They’re all friends on that show and they wouldn’t want that at all.

For me and for a ton of you Tumblr folk, Nellie Veitenheimer is my inspiration. Her story, her voice, her insecurities that could mirror mine, her personality, her beauty, her music (don’t even get me started on her music, holy crap)- everything just. Ugh. She’s my hero, dude.

Or maybe for you, it’s Blake and his amazing acting and overall attractiveness.

Maybe it’s Michael and his charm and his love of math.

Maybe it’s Lily and her big voice, competitiveness and fearlessness.

Maybe it’s Aylin with her fire, her romance with Charlie, her talent and her larger-than-life personality.

Maybe it’s Shanna with her sweetness, her amazing voice, and Southern charm.

Maybe it’s Abraham with his cuteness and personality and his voice.

Maybe it’s Ali with her bright personality and theatricality.

Maybe it’s Charlie with his wildly creative musicality, humor and his romance with Aylin

Maybe it’s Mario with his confidence, bravery and talent.

Maybe it’s Tyler with his story and his goofiness.

Maybe it’s Dani because of her cute personality, voice and overall swagger.

Maybe it’s Taryn with her unique voice.

Maybe it’s Maxfield with his deep country drawl and sweetness.

Whoever it may be, support them. You’ve supported them through this competition- continue to do so.

Also, Team Nellie, no matter what happens tonight? Everything happens for a reason. TGP competitors have realized this and they’ve prepared themselves for it. Miss Veitenheimer will go on to do great things, and we’ll all support her. Same thing goes to anyone whose favorite has gone home or will go home in the future.

Keep holding on!

All my love,

Michelle
