do you ever get in that situation when you’re trying to get someone to wake up and see sense, because the world is big and real and mean, and it’s gonna knock ‘em flat on their feet someday, and it’s gonna be a whole lot harsher than you’re ever gonna be.

but everyone’s okay with them living in a bubble, as long as they’re (mostly) happy, and doing their best to not disturb the little world they’ve carved for themselves, despite the fact that it’s made of glass and when it shatters it’ll cut cut cut.

and soon you feel like it’s you, not the world, that’s big and mean, and that you’ve been doing that person a terrible injustice this whole time, because everyone (including that person) is convinced that you’re evil one here.

and you’re just stuck, hoping the world will run them over, just so you have some proof, that it’s the world that’s mean and not you.
