LA’s Nightclub King Sells His Architectural House for $1.46m (Photo Gallery)

Brent Bolthouse is a major Hollywood player, his empire controlling the nightclubs where the prettiest young things get their groove on. The owner of an esteemed John Lautner-designed property known as the Polin House, Bolthouse has now sold the collectible 3BR/2BA property for $1.46 million, just shy of its $1.495 listing price.
As a club promoter turned DJ, Bolthouse has spun at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show after party, Sundance Film Festival, the Ray Ban Awards, but it is his Bolthouse Productions company for which he’s most well known, and with whom he’s owned and opened LA nightclubs such as Babylon, Opium Den and Avalon, as well as Body English at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. Together with Sam Nazarian, Bolthouse has also played part in opening restaurants such as Katsuya, lounge bars like Hyde and the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills.
He has played himself on “Entourage,” “LA Ink” and “The Hills.”
Celine Dion's Castle
Before you get any ideas, I’m describing her house as castle-ish because IT IS.
Today, I was looking for interior ideas and then started searching for celebrity homes/houses. Before that, I didn’t expect much from these celebrities’ houses because they’ve got the money. So, usually their houses are often the description of glamorous. Who knows? One tiny part of a concrete could be worth $100.
It doesn’t matter. They can afford it.
Going back to searching for these money machines’ “humble” abode, I came across a house that was undeniably every inch of a castle.
Movie directors would probably rent this house, don’t you think so, too?
I found out that this beautiful “castle” belongs to none other than the Queen of the Vegas Strip, Celine Dion.
What struck me the most is this grand entrance. When you look at it, it’s like you’ve entered the Royal Castle and would be greeted by royally uniformed guards.
I can definitely imagine the queen eating with the Royal family here.
If you’re as rich as Celine Dion, you’d probably go for a million dollar (I think) bed, I presume.
This bathroom vomits glamorous all over it.
I’ll come visit her often if I’ll get to sleep on this bed.
Need I say more?
To top it off, all this on a private island.

David Spade, currently on “Rules of Engagement” but best known for his turns on “Saturday Night Live” and “Just Shoot Me,” and in the films “Tommy Boy,” “Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star,” “Grown-Ups,” has just listed his 4BR/3.5BA home on the Pacific Coast Highway for $13,500,000.
Property records show the place was bought back in 2005 for $9.3 million.
The home, just down the road from one owned by Adam Sandler, features a pool, a Shaker cylindrical staircase, 4 fireplaces, wood floors and, of course, the sandy coastlines that enable it to be defined as ‘the best at the beach.’
