Can we just talk about how “Still” could NEVER have aired before “The Squab And The Quail” now? I mean, C’MON.
A guy who’s willing to die in a bomb explosion for his girlfriend, does not take her for granted.
A girl whose boyfriend stays with her until the literal end, does not think he’s not in it for the long haul.
Seriously.
I have three theories working for the finale
1. Circumstances surrounding Kate’s shooting and Johanna’s murder lead Kate to take a leave of absence from the precinct for the summer
2. Castle’s secret comes out at the completely wrong moment i.e they’re in a gun battle with the people and he lets it’s slip THEN what he’s been trying to do. Subsequently any Caskett hopes are dashed and Kate and Rick spend yet ANOTHER summer apart.
3. For some fucked up reason - The episode is super intense but somehow still ends with a big giant pile of fluff at the end and there are sexy times a’plenty and Castle and Beckett ride off into the sunset together.
I can’t believe there are only 3 episodes left of this season. What. The. Crap.

So I gave in and watched “Still” and I cried and I had a stupid grin on my face and I cried a little bit more and then I watched it all over again and cried again and now I just have a really stupid smile plastered on my face.
For those willing to wait, just know that it will be worth it. It was an amazing ep!
