Cardio Playlist I
Sometimes getting to the gym is tough. I’ve found that having a solid playlist that pumps you up can make all the difference. If you’re slacking on your fitness new years resolution, give a new playlist a try. Here’s my current upbeat, highly motivating, 10-track cardio playlist.
1. Steppin’ Up - M.I.A.
This track gives you a sense of power and preps you to take on the rest of your workout.
“I can kill a sound and the shit will make you jump, jum jum jum jum jum, jum jum jum jum jum jum
I can smash a beat so the track will make you run, run run run run run run, run run run run run run
I’m caught up to the tee, I tie up just for fun, fun fun fun fun fun fun, fun fun fun fun fun fun
Get ready for the city street, weights by the ton, ton ton ton ton ton ton, ton ton ton ton ton ton”
2. Crazy Beautiful Life - Ke$ha
So now you’ve gotten a solid 4 minute warm up in…. it’s time to pick up the pace. I know most people don’t generally respect Ke$ha as a musician…. and I’m not asking you to! This track just makes me feel high on life, which in turn helps me pick up the pace. Do it. Let’s go.
“Every single night we fight,
To get a little high on life.
To get a little something right, something real.
At least we try.”
3. Who’s That Chick? - Rihanna
Another feel good track so keep you motivated. Everytime this track comes on I just picture myself ripping it up on the dance floor with my girlfriends in that sexy black dress that I’m working towards squeezing myself into. Turn the volume up and increase the speed.
“Too cold for you to keep her
Too hot for you to leave her
Who’s that chick? who’s that chick?
4. Right Hand High - Kid Sister
Kick it up one more notch. Kid Sister says so.
“D-d-d-did i stutter about to bounce and break yo’ bed. That boy you gotta problem, Holla at Dr. Phil.
I’ll put some hurtin’ on ya and I’ll do it in some heels”
5. Til’ I Collapse - Eminem
By now you are probably starting to fade a bit. Let Eminem remind you not to give up.
“Til the roof comes off, til the lights go out, til my legs give out, can’t shut my mouth.
Til the smoke clears out and my high burns out - imma rip this shit til my bones collapse.”
6. Shake It (Move a Little Closer) - Lee Cabrera ft. Alex Cartana
Just move a little closer la la la … Dancin til your feet catch on fire.
7. Down On Me - 50 cent
Get it. Get it. Get it. Work it. Work it. Break it. Break it.
8. It’s Like That - Run DMC
You’ve come this far. It would be stupid to quit now.
It’s like that… and that’s the way it is. HUH!
9. What ya waitin for? - Gwen Stefani
Every ounce of energy you have left …. use it now. All of it.
Look at your watch now! You’re still a super hot female. You got your million dollar contract…. and they’re all waiting for your hot track. Whatcha waiting for?”
10. Moth’s Wings - Passion Pit:
The perfect cool-down song. Leaves you feeling ready to take on the rest of the day with a bounce in your step.
6 Song 20 minute Cardio Playlist
In my previos post I mentioned my dance cardio playlist. Here are the songs:
North of Mason Dixon- Watch the Girls
Luke Bryan- Country Girl (Shake it for Me)
Whitney Duncan- So Sorry Mama
Rihanna- S & M
New Kids on the Block- Single
New Kids on the Block- Dirty Dancing
This is my cardio playlist. As you can see, it’s not too much and I fear that I might get tired of listening to it over and over so I need your help. Message me any suggestions. I listen to mostly pop/hip-hop/indie-pop&rock/alternative/house or mainly songs that’s got rhythm and makes you run that extra mile. :D
…And now it’s time to eat healthy again!!! Even though i do figure skating, dance and fitness my body won’t work without a healthy diet! Just found the Nice pro training app and it’s great! It gives you exercises while mixing a playlist and counting minutes! Really just an awesome free app. Can’t wait to go to the gym again :)
