I think everyone in the Robin Hood fandom is tired of the character-bashing and just the overall show-bashing. There are far too many people bashing it because they’re only watching it for Richard Armitage.
There’s nothing wrong with watching something for an actor, I mean hell, it’s the reason I started watching the show! But unlike some, I actually really enjoyed the show and I’m sick and tired of seeing all the character and show bashing.
People always complain that they should be allowed to tag their hate because it’s their opinion and I agree that everyone if free to have their own opinion. I’m not saying everyone should love the show, but people do need to be a little more considerate to those that actually do enjoy the show and the characters!
Anyway, I’m obviously preaching to the choir here. I’m really glad you agree! Happy to see another Robin Hood fan!

I think trying to emulate Carl Sagan like that is more like a Buddhist trying to emulate Buddha than a Christian trying to emulate Christ. You've hit a few good points with the 'expecting something in return', and I'm not saying that all Christians are that way, but Buddhists tend to focus more on the motive to do good in their lifetime simply for the sake of being good, rather than what they might get in return after death.
Yep, I suppose it’s closer. If what the Dalai Lama has said about science and Buddhism is right, too, I think we have little bits of a happy analogy.

I don’t know how many mobile suits you’ve put together in the past, but the directions are actually pretty straight forward even in Japanese. And because Virtue is such a blocky mech, he doesn’t have as many tiny pieces as the others.
Just don’t do what I did and pop the pieces out with your fingers- use pliers or something like that to cut them out. I nearly broke several pieces in half because they wouldn’t budge.
