I hate it when people are like “Oh, I’m only proud to be Canadian because of said band/artist” which happens on most Marianas Trench, Simple Plan, and Hedley music videos in the comments.

Because, really? I’m proud to be Canadian because of our free health care, are equal marriage rights, and we can tell our money apart with a casual glance at it, because $5 is blue, $10 is purple, $20 is green, $50 is red, and $100 is yellow.

And poutine.
