Trying to Make Sense of Cajun Spice

I found some video… pointing out sometihng in Cajun Spice.

She says that when Remy and Rogue accidentally touched, the hand movement was DELIBERATE and Remy did it on purpose. And I’m like… HUh. The animation DOES look like that.

Exactly. Cause if he did touch her on purpose, then he WANTED her to drain him. He wanted her to know how he had used her up to this point. His way of giving her the chance to back out then, I guess?

If the movement was deliberate that means Cajun Spice might have a bit more depth than I thought…

If only a bit.

But then if he was going to do that why didn’t he just tell her what he wanted from the beginning instead of being all round about

Cause he needed to know where the hideout was and how to get past the bombs. Doing it on his own was too risky. Least, that’s what I’m thinking… Sort of.

He’s got his selfish moments.

Don’t I know it. But for something as important as saving Jean-Luc there’s too much room for error.

1) He kidnaps Rogue- So far so good. (ignoting the fact He needs her help because for some reason he can’t gather intel and doesn’t know about the giant mansion in the middle of the swamp thats the not- Assassins Guild hideout)

2) He wanders around New Orleans for god knows how long with Rogue until they bump into a Ripper (hopefully one who knows where Jean-Luc is). Then makes sure she has skin to skin contact with them without getting hurt herself. If the fight had gone on too long or the wrong way she could have easily been wounded and therefor useless to him.

3) Then after all that he touches her so she can turn back possibly. Which brings in the question of why he didn’t just tell her ‘I’m kidnapping you to save my Daddy.’

But it came out understandable.

That’s the holes in the story, mostly. The stupid holes that somehow make Gambit useless in this situation. And I highly doubt that the entire theives guild are that useless.

But, I can’t think of any other reason why he’d purposely touch her. And it really does look purposely.

Unless he just wanted to touch her purdy skin.

‘cause lets face it Remy can be stupidly impulsive at times
