PALMVIEW, Texas — Authorities said they are investigating the death of a burglar who was shot at while breaking into a home about 1 a.m. Wednesday.

According to Palmview police, a homeowner shot at a burglar who tried to enter his home through a window. Cmdr. Lenny Sanchez said that investigators were still trying to determine whether any shots hit their target.
