A teacher in New York was teaching her class about bullying and them the following exercise to perform. She had the children take a piece of paper and told them to crumple it up, stomp on it and really mess it up but do not rip it. Then she had them unfold the paper smooth it out and look at how scarred and dirty it was. She then told them to tell it they’re sorry. Now even though they said they were sorry and tried to fix the paper, she pointed out all the scars left behind. And that those scars will never go away no matter how hard they tried to fix it. This is what happens when a child bullies another child, they may say they’re sorry but the scars are there forever. The look on the faces of the children in the classroom told her the message hit home.
Time for tumblr to turn OFF anon for good.
There is no need for anonymous messages,it’s time to get rid of this childish option, it is open to abuse…..

- Everyone will be transparent, so if you’re going to hate, you’ll have to do it in the open.
- No tumblr will ever receive, cruel, unjustified hatred and bullying again.
- If you want to flirt, then flirt openly, what’s the point of flirting if the other person doesn’t know who you are? be brave, and open, the messages can still remain private and unpublished.
- No more spamming anons with their shitty links.
Now, I know a few of you will disagree with this, and I respect that, this is just my view after reading about kids committing suicide because of bullying on ask fm……I don’t want to see tumblr go down that road
time to open up.
