OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right, so last week I offered to play the piano for a schools Bugsy Malone production at a theatre… 

I was doing it for free as:

1. It’s for a Junior school
2. I’m friends with one of the parents there
3. It’s brilliant experience for me!

I just got an email back saying “I think you are the answer to our prayers!”, which was rather nice. And then at the end of the email she stated they don’t have much of a budget, if any, and then:

• Offered to pay for any expenses, such as travel, etc…
• And put an advert in the program

I’d feel awful taking money for travel, but that’s just because I’ve never worked out of a contract before!
Should I accept the pay for travel? I don’t know what to say to them! 
I don’t think I’ll have the advertisement as I don’t do anything! I’ve considered teaching but I’d have to travel to them. I use public transport all the time so it wouldn’t be easy finding them.

Considering this’ll be my first ever job as a musician it’s rather exciting!
