The Lowdown

I wanted to avoid the typically low standards my blog has succumbed to lately.  These low standards being indicated by a lack of content more than anything else.  This evening I’ll be finishing off writing a piece that I’m planning on performing at Hairography in Leeds on Thursday night.  I’m a bit scared since I’ve just had a look at the website and my name is up there in bright lights, but also an exciting opportunity to show a new piece of work.

Whilst doing this I’ve been listening to a mix that I found on the Flux blog tumblr of some good Broadcast tracks.  Good times, you can listen to it here. 

Saturday was amazing.  Katie, Rui, Sam and myself went to Birmingham for the Bright Space careers festival at the Midlands Arts Centre.  We were there with the fantastic Ikon Youth Programme (who have a tumblr blog here) and we spent the day giving feedback to people about their art work.  There may be photos to follow…

I’ll post something later this evening but now I’ve got to get on with some writing…
