The only thing I know about Homestuck right now is that it's pulling tricks that "Bob and George" pulled 10 years ago.

“OMG HUSSIE DIED TWICE.”

“Yeah… so did Dave and his helmet clone. Back in 2002.”

It occurs to me that I met the love of my life as a pixellated elf on the forum of a subcomic of a webcomic based on robot sprites from a video game.

How the fuck are we supposed to explain that to our kids?

I wonder how everyone from the forums is doing nowadays. Assuming they have tumblr, anyway. Or even remember Deccus and/or Naeko.

I know I missed some, feel free to tack them on

Wanna know some funny shit?

The first real online community I was ever apart of was the forums for Bob and George.

If you don’t know what it is just google it. The vaguest description I could give is that it was a Megaman sprite comic, one of the first sprite comics to tip off that whole sprite comic phase.

I had a whole little character and everything, Drum Kero. I was the son of Toadman who had a giant afro that he used to hide weapons and soda in.

The Afro even talked.

Fro was even in a band and played the drums.

Just felt like sharing that.

Anyone else ever read Bob and George? I loved that webcomic. ^^ Mike was my favorite.

See I don’t play a lot of Mega Man, despite Mega Man X being one of my favorite games ever. Most of my Mega Man knowledge comes from Bob and George and the Protomen.

So as far as I’m concerned, Mega Man is the wounded, loner, last hope for humanity, but also a complete idiot. Dr. Light is not only the guilt-ridden old man who loses everyone he’s close to, he’s also a surly, hateful alcoholic.

It’s a strange sensation.
