The Black Keys

The Black Keys have been floating around the music industry since 2001, releasing a couple of EPs and singles, but their earned major recognition after their sixth studio album in 2010, ‘Brothers’. It became their biggest album yet, generating many hit singles (like the one on audio). In 2011, they offered ‘El Camino’, another successful album that was highly anticipated by most of us.

‘Tighten Up’ is instantly catchy (the cheery whistle at the start made me smile), delivering desperate blues sound; the kind of sound that is produced with one’s entire soul. The lyrics are terribly brilliant, and those mighty guitar riffs, oh my! It keeps you howling, from the beginning to the end.
