That respecting an opinion doesn’t mean not giving your own opinion if it contradicts another? It means both sides are allowed to state their points.
That freedom of speech doesn’t just apply to you, but also means others are allowed to point out when you’re being illogical, and you are free to call them assholes in return?
That if you can’t handle criticism maybe you should stop posting on the Internet?
So I was wandering on the internet ,reading some fan rants about the Lust arc and (to my huge surprise) most of them just consisted in bashing Orihime (no I say surprise because ,you know, never in my wildest dream could I ever imagine someone writing hate on Orihime!) .I just want to make some things clear for you Bleach fandom!
First bashing Orihime because she didn’t fight against Ulquiorra on the dome is just one of the most stupid thing you can do . So just don’t. No because if you actually READ Bleach ,you know that in this scene Ichigo was already dead and she was using her healing power on him,Ishida had no wrist anymore and Orihime’s shield was in front of him . So Orihime was already using 2/3 of her power . All she could do at this point was using Tsubaki and if you think that’s what she should have done then just look at yourself in a mirror and question the way you think please . Because NO NEVER EVER EVER even with all the determination of the world Orihime could have hurt Ulquiorra, he was just too powerful ,there is no way ever she could have done anything! If you think that Orihime had the slightest of chance with Tsubaki against Ulquiorra then excuse me but you’re stupid.It’s the equivalent of saying “oh there is a little stick next to Orihime maybe she could fight Ulquiorra with it”
This is actually one of the thing I prefer with Bleach . Except Ichigo nobody has the right to a-mega-super-power-up-because-you-know-he-is-part-of-the-good-guys. When a character is not strong enough in Bleach he loses ,no matter how unfair it is . It would have been fair if Gin had managed to kill Aizen after devoting all his life for this purpose. It would have been fair for Renji to beat Byakuya because he trained like 40 years for it . It would have been fair for Hinamori ,after having overcome the mental breakdown caused by Aizen to not be stabbed in the chest by her chilhood friend. But no it had happened simply because they were not powerful enough . No matter how hard they tried , no matter how much they suffer because of it ,they just couldn’t win because this is life .Sometimes you just can’t ,sometimes being part of the good guy is not enough . This is exactly what happened with Orihime . You think she did not want to stand up and fight on the dome? You think she did not want to be strong enough to protect her friends? Like hell she wanted it! But just want it wasn’t enough , even with her training with Rukia she couldn’t! And if you think it’s her fault then:
Now to the people who blamed her because she cried I just want to say ,yes ,yes of course it is known khaleesi that in our society standarts it’s totally not okay to cry when the guy you love just die trying to save you. Yes I don’t know what some of you guys expected from Orihime (cooking,fishing…else?)
And now I adress to you people that blame Orihime for asking help to Ichigo when he was dead . You people have to understand something, on the dome something in Orihime just snapped ,she lived a mental breakdown , she was close to hysteria ,Ichigo was dead ,Uryuu was dying and Orihime would have die soon , so she didn’t know what to do (if you don’t believe me just look at those 12 lines of “what should I do” in this chapter) Orihime blamed herself she was totally in a state of fear , despair, and yes she was really close to madness when she called for Ichigo . But she try to do all the things she could to wake him up , she somewhat knew that a cry for help would have wake him up (you know with Ichigo being the protector and all) And she was right I am not saying that calling for his help was an action totally disinsterested ,of course a part of her wanted to be protected by Ichigo but once again what do you guys expect from Orihime?
Fighting? We come back to this once again?
Why are you all so obsessed with her fighting? ORIHIME.DOES.NOT.LIKE.TO.HURT.PEOPLE. okay? Even if she is more determined to fight since the timeskip ,it has cost her something . I love the new Orihime ready to fight to protect what is dear to her . But still, everytime she hurts someone , she is more hurt than the other person , to the people who said Orihime act like Hueco Mundo never happened then you must read Bleach again because obviously this experience changed her a lot . And even if she doesn’t shows it ,choosing to hurt other people to protect had hurt her .
And if after all that you are still like ” mmmhhh…yes Orihime is pretty powerful but I will not really be convinced by her until she has a good fight it’s exactly like saying “mmmmhhhh….yes Ichigo is pretty powerful but I will not be convinced until I saw him heal” which is something nobody says so
idk i find it so weird that IchiRuki fanfiction (one in particular) makes Orihime seem like a dellusional, helpless girl who can be verbally abusive in relationships and super possessive over Ichigo while in IchiHime fanfictions, Rukia is witty and intelligent and concerned about Ichigo, not obsessed.
i’m not trying to fuel the ship wars, i just find it super irritatting how some IchiRukis see Orihime.

I usually never comment on stuff like this. But sometimes this fandom and the level they stoop give me a headache.
As an IchiHime fan seeing such stuipid things posted on silly blogs by using the name of my fandom, making it look like it has been posted by an IH fan,just makes me feel disgusted by a certain group.
Why don’t you “haters” stop sending BS under the name of IH fans just to make fun with my fandom? You are just so transparent its ridicilous. Just go support your own ship instead of making up new tricks to find a way to bash Ichihime fans. How about wasting your very creative! energy on something more positive? How about acting a little bit more mature for a change?
Its totally time for me the start using the block button on certain biased tumblr blogs tho. They dont deserve to be on my dash.
