Cosplays
Why do people get so bent up out of shape about people “not being the same” as the people they’re cosplaying? No one will ever be the same as the character they’re cosplaying, so let them cosplay who they want and do the best they can with it.
Not like there are many skinny, light-skinned black guys with dreadlocks in fiction anyway. If I had to follow the whole “You have to be the same body type as your character” garbage, I’d never be able to cosplay ANYONE.
Do your best with your cosplay, wear it with pride.
Me and the not mes
Okay, recently I keep getting a lot of messages of people complimenting me on cosplay pictures that are not me. I only keep getting these messages on black cosplayers pics. Now, I’ll give you people the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe my icon doesn’t really show off my face that well considering the hat and all, because surely you all don’t think all black people look the same.
I’ll upload a newer picture in the future once I get my hair did but until then…
