I got laid off today.
So as you guys might know, I work[ed] for a recruiting-type company. Fortune 500 companies come to us to aid in/completely do their hiring process. My team was working with ADT Security. We had to source resumes online, put them in our system, look over them, and call them to see if they’re interested in the position.
However, ADT would often give us the most secluded areas in the US to work with. [I will never get over you, Billings, MT] If they did give us a larger city, then they’d be fucking sourcing there too. Like, they would put the perfect fucking candidate in their system and NEVER CALL THEM. And we weren’t allowed to because they had them first. Bitch, you haven’t done shit for 5 months. This dude could be working for you by now.
So ADT got all pissy when our numbers were bad for a couple of weeks. When they didn’t give us any new territories and we had to work our asses off for a couple of submittals a day.
So they ended their contract. And my team got laid off.
They told me that I was awesome and they love me, but didn’t have anything for me to do right now. But other companies are currently working on contracts with them, so when those are completed they’ll give me a call because they really want me back. It might be a couple of weeks, though.
Here’s to hoping I get re-hired.
Technical Issues
Okay, so I (Kelly) have another Tumblr which gets updates from my Twitter and posts them. It looks like Tumblr has disabled that feature, so at best, you need to actually go TO this blog and look on the sidebar for Twitter updates. Since we’ll be on the road a lot, I will at the end of the day/whenever we get wireless go and take all those Twitter posts and make a massive post for a way to see it on your Dashboard without having to come to this blog. Or, like, you could come to this blog and see it. What. Ever.
