okay I got this from the Best of Anime 2012 just yesterday xD

GAH i was seriously fangirling when i bought this one xD
and i think it’s the only thing i bought there too ahaha
so this band 宇宙戦队NOIZ (Uchusentai Noiz) is bound to come to our country on the 9th up to the 16th of September as the main event for the BEST OF ANIME 2012 happening at the SMX Convention Center. This is the first time a REAL LIVE BREATHING Visual Kei band is coming to the Philippines and wow what possessed them rly? are we suddenly getting crossed out of the “aliens list” or somth//
but why at Davao though, Manila would be obvious ofc, but to Davao? @.@
PLUS IT’S THE FIRST TIME I’VE HEARD OF THEIR BAND >.> any recs? though i’ve kinda checked out their discography and it’s not that wide. perfectly manageable. I just want to at least familiarize myself of their stuff first before seeing them live.
The day I met Uchuusentai Noiz..
…was so fun!
I don’t regret having to go home at 12:30 am!

My fangirl friends gave them cake! it was so touching!
I also like the fact that they loved filipino foods like Durian, Kinilaw and *drumroll* JOLLIBEE!
*evil laugh*
I was able to touch masato, Angel-taka and kotaro, we were standing a few inches from each other!
they were so funny! and I like the way they perform and how they treat the fans and omga ngel-taka was hilarious!
too bad I wasn’t able to get kotaro’s pick *sobs*
BUT HE SMILED AND WINKED AT ME
I also met a hardcore Japanese NOIZ fan! she was so nice and energetic <3
but oh well <3 I jope get to see them again soon!
PLEASE CONTINUE WORKING HARD AND SUPPORTING THE CHILDREN IN DAVAO!
AND PLEASE VISIT MANILA AGAIN SOON!

Best of Anime 2012
Oh god, it was amazing. I had a hard time finding the convention hall at first, but it was worth it.
I met with Trusty and we made a few seeps of the booths to scout out some sweet stuff to buy while admiring the cosplayers. Some booths from ToyCon made a return, like authentic hoodie’s hoodie booth, and CSB’s digital art and animation booth.
We eventually decided on getting two chibi accessories each (we both got one Pyramid Head (ahh yes…the scalene triangle), and I got Harley Quinn while Trusty got Wesker), one set of steampunk goggles each (bronze for Trusty, gold for me), and a knight hoodie for me.
Trusty also gave me a Rarity bookmark he got for me back at the phbronies anniversary. (Thanks again, bro!)
The cosplay contest winners were awesome. A guy dressed up as the Zoid, Geno Breaker, got in 3rd, a LOL cosplayer got 2nd, and a girl dressed up as a freaking Gundam won.
The other cosplays ranged from Cloud Strife, to Ai Enma, to Hirasaka Yomotsu, to Slenderman.
Then we rushed to a hotdog stand to get food before Uchusentai NOIZ took the stage.
The concert didn’t fail to amaze, and only because were we less than 20 feet from an actual Visual Kei band. They pounded out an amazing set of songs, including their cover of “Narda”, a song by Kamikazee, one of our own country’s bands. They looked and sounded awesome.
(Masato even gave Angel Taka a little kiss while he was lying on the ground before singing into the microphone Angel held to his neck and omg me and Trusty made so many yaoi jokes on our way out later.)
After going off stage, they made a surprise return to the stage with (surprise) Kamikazee! They didn’t perform with them, but gave one last encore performance anyway.
After that, I was tired, my legs and throat ached, and I had to wait one hour for a cab to go home in.
(Trusty was fetched or something. xD)
But, like I said, WORTH IT.
