I’m angry. No. I AM LIVID. If you’ve been watching the news, you saw how Charles Ramsey a man who saved the lives of 3 kidnapped women, got slandered as the days passed. An investigative site took it to their hands to do a background check on Ramsey and found that Ramsey is a convicted felon, who has been jailed on three separate domestic violence convictions.  I’m not supporting the man’s past, but don’t use that reason to not call  him a hero. It upsets me that this is what is now headlining instead of the good he has done. Why are you using his past against him? He’s not asking for money, he is not accepting the reward, he wants the women to receive the rewards. The simple fact HIS background is circulating more than the kidnapper’s action is UPSETTING.  & for those saying “it’s a fact”. Okay, it’s a fact, but what does this FACT, have to do with the details of this story and what he did.? The guy could have been an alcoholic at the time. Do you know the details of his earlier life? Why the need to tear down people? This guy did something most people won’t: he got involved. He deserves praise for that. He served his time and he just saved several women’s lives.. isn’t he allowed redemption? You’d think a guy with a history like that would have looked the other way. Getting involved in a domestic dispute isn’t exactly the safest thing to do, but he did it. Maybe he’s a better person now.Good people can do bad things. Bad people can do good things. Most people are somewhere in between. What he did this week does not excuse what he may have done in the past, but what he did in the past doesn’t undo what he did this week.
