“Believe it or not, how you see another person usually has very little to do with them. Your views, your opinions, your perceptions and your judgments all stem from you. They are a function of who you believe you are or are not. What is inside you ultimately determines how you approach other people.”
—The whole “belief shoving” line gets me every time, no matter how many times I hear it I have to laugh.
People who believe they are entitled to the lives of others, telling us we shove our beliefs down their throats for telling them to knock it off; or at the very least just think about the consequences of their actions for five minutes.
Your belief is literally being shoved onto others who have to die for you because you believe you have a right to the products of their suffering and death. You can create a thousand justifications and excuses for why it’s okay for you to eat meat or dairy or eggs but at the end of the day it’s your belief that it’s okay… when it isn’t. Hurting others will never be okay.
Do you not see how silly you are by even using the term “shoving beliefs” against us?
Do you seriously not?
