Google Beatbox Contest: EDC Vegas + Bassrush Massive
We recently learned that Google Translate has the ability to beatbox! For example, when you enter words like pv, zk, and bschk, set the language to German, and click the speaker button to have it read aloud, you get some cool percussion samples with which to formulate a beat.
In light of this awesome discovery, we are holding a contest, challenging you to create the sickest beat possible in Google Translate. Create a post that includes the transcript of your beat, and tag it “googlebeatbox” — Make sure to tell us what language to select on Google Translate in order to hear your beat properly. You are allowed to use any language you want, but you can only use one language per contest entry, and you can enter the contest up to three times.
The winning beat will be announced on Thursday, May 31st, and will receive a three-day pass to EDC Las Vegas and a pair of tickets to Bassrush Massive.
Judging will be based on both the quality of your beat and the amount of notes you get, so ask your followers to reblog, like, and comment!
