Ben Nye Banana Powder
What is it:
It’s a yellow toned translucent powder
What is it used for:
It is a great powder for setting under eye concealer for most skin tones
It is a great all over setting powder for the face for people with medium to dark skin that have a yellow undertone
Pros:
- slightly highlights under the eyes when applied over concealer
- Smooths out the face
- Is shear and doesn’t appear cakey
- Doesn’t leave a white/grey tint for people with tanned and darker skin (which can sometimes happen with the white translucent powder)
Cons:
Packaging makes it harder to use the product for the face as it is hard to get the face powder brush to pick up a lot of product from the small cap without it going everywhere .
Where to buy:
I haven’t found a place in Australia that sells them, I bought mine from ebay.
Would I repurchase:
Yes I would, love how it applies on my face, love that is doesn’t get cakey or leave a ashy tint.
