Scandal: German rapper Bushido gets the 'integration' Bambi award!

It’s all over the media here in Germany and I think because the Bambi is an important German award and there are also hollywood stars. I will tell you something about it.

From the beginning:

I think most people of tumblr don’t know who Bushido is. So I will tell you something about. Bushido is German rapper who writes German song testes which are against women, homophobic, sexist and glorify violence. And here is a excerpt from his song “Berlin” from 2006:

Berlin wird wieder hart, denn wir verkloppen jede Schwuchtel

Translation: “Berlin goes tough again cause we beat up every fag”

 I have only this excerpt because I read it in an article. I don’t listen to his music but I was literally shocked when I read it. Why is somebody like him one of the most successful German artists?

Many German artists and politicians are disgusted that Bushido won. The gay singer of the German band Rosenstolz said live on stage, from the Bambi award, when he got his award:

“So wenige Jahre nachdem ein Musiker frauenfeindliche Texte, schwulenfeindliche Texte und im Endeffekt menschenverachtende Texte veröffentlicht hat, so einen Musiker hier heute Abend auszuzeichnen, finde ich nicht korrekt.”

Translation: “After so few years that a musician (Bushido) released texts against women, homophobic texts and in the end inhuman texts, to award a price to such a musician tonight, I think it isn’t correct.”

 My German teacher was so disgusted that she told us a half of hour why she didn’t wanted that Bushido got this price.

The next day after he got this price, the German LGBT community demonstrated and they want from the Bambi committee that they deprive the Bambi from Bushido.

I think that someone like him won such an important award for integration isn’t correct. He doesn’t deserve it. He didn’t do anything that he deserve this award. There are so many other people who have done more for the integration than Bushido did. They deserve it and not somebody who has millions of euro of his account. All I can say to it is:
