Day Twenty
Day started out with an 8:00 am shift that meant I had to be up and out of the house by 7:15. It was a pretty sunny morning and waiting for buses wasn’t so bad.
Got to work where I was at the cashier again. They gave me the job of greeting customers as they came in and out of the store. Some time in they also gave me these new little ‘bag-tags’ and colouring books to hand out to kids coming in with their parents. It was so cute to see them smiling and having their mums and dads tell them to say thank you to me. My four hour shift went by really fast and soon Stephan, my replacement, was there and I headed to the back to get changed to catch a bus to Glen to meet with, surprise surprise, Alex.
Met up with her outside Terry White where pretty girl Janet was working. God pretty girls scare me. Went to maccas to get Alex her double cheeseburger but missed it by LITERALLY a few seconds. Just as the person in front of us was finishing their order, a manager shouted out that no more double cheese burgers were being sold. Sucks.
Alex still got a cheeseburger meal and I got sushi from… THE OTHER ALEX! This Alex is very different from mine but nice all the same. Apparently, at Sushisushi you can’t serve friends ad family because they don’t want you giving away things for free. She served us anyway.
Alex had an appointment for a haircut at ‘Aqua’ the Korean hairdresser that’s very popular. A lot of people I know are always going these. I personally just don’t like hairdressers..
For some reason my stomach was feeling weird so I just felt grumpy and kept snapping at Alex a bit, sorry love. It was a while to wait because I think Becky, Alex’s hairdresser, was really busy and fell behind schedule a bit. Anyway, we did get there eventually and Alex had her hair washed and cut while I sat in the chair next to her and slept. That’s making the top list of most awkward places to fall asleep.

(Isn’t she just so pretty?)
After the haircut we went BACK to maccas because someone had cravings for nuggets. I got a boost drink that I never get but somehow my brain had given me the idea that a cold, sweet drink would make my tummy feel better. It was wrong. Rested at bit after eating and then went to Coles to buy snacks for humans and food for puppy.

We had fifteen minutes until both our buses arrived and Alex still needed to run to the grocery to buy something for her parents. It was all the way on the other side of Glen main area and we power walked/jogged to get there and back to the bus terminals on time. We did make it though and that was quite impressive.
When I got home I realised I’d forgotten my keys and so I knocked on the door but no one was home. My knocking must’ve woke Meg up because she started whining and crying and it was making me so sad to not be able to get in and cuddle her. Luckily my sister wasn’t too far away and just got off her bus home. Got into the house and in the study to hug Meg lots. She’s so cute. Continued watching ANTM and ate the ‘nasi lemak’ I bought for dinner because my dad was coming home late and wasn’t cooking for us.
Later in the day when the sun was less intense and it was cooler, my sister and I took Meg out for a walk. It’s so cute to see her little legs running to catch up with us.

Oh and Meg sleeps in THE oddest positions, the above being just one of many.
