One thing I have noticed while diving deeper into adoption is that couples decorate the nursery for the home study. This means decorating may be coming much sooner than I had planned on. My issue with this is I have a hard time picturing a ‘neutral’ room. I see color, lots of it, but it is always geared towards either a baby girl or baby boy!
I know I don’t have to decorate and truthfully, I likely won’t, not fully. I just feel we are not close to that part of our journey yet. We are still holding out hope that this upcoming IVF/trial cycle will work in our favor and result in me carrying our child. In the meantime…I keep looking ;)

Madras Room: If I had a beach house or lived at the beach, you better believe this would be the room for my baby boy!

Max & Harper: I love the contrast of the dark and light. It just comes across as fresh and crisp.

Sweet Penelope: I love the pink and green combo. I also wish our future nursery had the room and large windows this room offers!

Octopus Sprinkler: Ummmm….need I say anything more? The only thing that would make this better is if it was on sale. Oh wait, IT IS!!!

ABC Blocks: These wooden blocks just bring me back to when I was growing up. Wooden toys have character and last more than a day.

Liv and Jeff's adorable nursery for baby Elsa!
Last time I visited Liv and Jeff, was for their house tour shoot back in January 2011. Liv was merely a couple months pregnant and they had yet to convert Jeff’s office into their new baby nursery.
