I’m posting this again because I have seen SO many people on my dash ask about how to download mp3s of audio posts.
So, what you want to do is install the TumTaster extension for Chrome from the Google App Store. This extension creates a link below each audio post that looks like this:
You can then right click on the “Ciick to download” button and select “Save link as…”
and then the mp3 will download! It’s that easy!
I use this aaalllll the time and I don’t know how I ever survived Tumblr without it!
OH! And if you just left click on the download bar, it will take you to a screen like this:
in a new tab! So even if you don’t want to download the song, you can let it play in a new tab and continue scrolling through Tumblr and reblogging/posting stuff without stopping your music!

Okay so
I get a lot of messages asking me if I can put up a download link for such-and-such audio post that I’ve made
And every now and then I’ll do so, but not enough people ever really see it to where I’ll stop being asked about it, and it gets frustrating to have to either keep reuploading to dropbox or whatever or to keep retrieving the link repeatedly
So let me show you guys an easy way to get those pesky audio files yourselves, like big boys and girls. It’s the method I generally use for capturing audio from my speakers for my own editing purposes and it’s served me well.
