It feels like stealing hearts, calling your name from the crowd.
Like two years ago, this post is gonna be about my whole ATL experience I had when they were in Singapore. (some of the photos are mine, and some of them are not)
I shall start off with Mar 5, Alex tweeted this

So basically we didn’t even have to try and guess what time they would arrive :) set my alarm to wake up at 6am and realized that their flight that was scheduled to arrive at 720am was going to be early and ETA was 658am. Panicked and gave my friends a call and we rushed off to the airport. Thankfully all of us rushed there in time and managed to welcome the boys! :) I was THIS close to getting a selfie with Jack, he was walking towards me when i asked for a picture, then Matt called out “we have to go guys” and then he waved and walked away :(
Some pictures of the band & crew walking in.

This time there were lesser people at the airport as compared to the previous time they came. It was probably due to the fact that many of the hustlers were still in secondary school and it was a weekday morning when they arrived this year thus they were probably in school while 2 years ago they arrived around 6pm in the evening. Because of that, those at the airport got much more attention (also because we controlled ourselves and tried not to scream) the boys stopped for awhile to talk to us, sign stuff and take pictures. Jack was so sweet! The moment he stepped out of the gate, he went straight to the fans to try and autograph/take as many pictures as he can in that short period of time that he had with us. Alex received lots of gifts, he looked like he was having trouble carrying them haha. While walking towards the exit, I shouted hi to Alex and he said “hey! i like your shirt!” (i was wearing the white all time low lightning shirt) I was like akjshdklajshfjkahdslf :’) Rian looked sooooo good with his hair grown out and Zack was so adorable :) Here’s a video of their arrival :)
While waiting for the van (for their equipments) to come, we talked to the crew and took pictures with them, they were really really nice :’)
My friends and I with Danny, Dan, Evan and Grieco :)

On the same day they arrived, they had an acoustic session and taping for the LOLtoggle show at scape. The acoustic session was held in the 987fm studio at scape where they played 2 songs live on radio. It was super super packed outside the radio station it was crazy

We figured that it would be impossible to even see them if we stayed there so we went to the lift to wait for them cause they were definitely gonna come up from the lift. Then, the lift decides to break down so they had to go up from somewhere else so we missed them. A picture of us waiting at the lift (photobomb-ed by another fellow hustler! haha)

Some photos of the boys in the 987fm studio and here’s a video of the whole acoustic session

We decided to go up earlier because we wanted good seats for the taping so we rushed up straight after we saw the boys enter the 987fm studio. We stayed outside at the waiting area for pretty long. We were allowed to enter at 730pm and it was only 6pm when we were there. Refreshment was provided so we ate and drank a little, took pictures, and listened to the boys on the radio on our phones. Some pictures we took while waiting

At around 7pm, the acoustic session at 987fm studio ended so the boys made their way up. Likewise, the crowd followed them up too. A picture of the crowd outside the LOLtoggle taping

Finally, it was time to enter. The guard asked us to form 3 rows and luckily, the row my friends and I were at was picked to go in first. So, we got front row seats only about 2 meters away from where the boys were gonna do their acoustic performance. It was magical.
This is where they performed

Group photo before the taping began

The acoustic session they performed was really amazing :’) Alex’s voice asdkhksdfjldjk. The mic wasn’t actually on so we could hear his voice alone without any effects it was so so good. They only performed two songs, for baltimore and somewhere in neverland but ahhh it was really so damn amazing.
Here are some photos :)

Alex being a sweetie pie waving to us

Alex again singing soulfully as usual :’)

Jack with the sweetest smile ever

Hot Zack is hot

Rian was at the side watching them and he was such a proud papa :’)

Matt being all handsome, yes they were literally 2 meters away from us.

Awwww Alex is shy :’)

Enjoying the massage over there eh, Rian?

Moving on. After the performance of their two songs, they went on to sit at the couch to have an “interview” with Judee Tan the host of the talk show.

The interview was pretty funny and the boys were being their usual cheeky selves so it was really enjoyable :) That half an hour interview they had, mattered so much. Because that was when they noticed my friends and I. :)
It all started with this simple board that we made

Maybe it was because we were the only ones who had a board, the host took extra notice of us and she decided to take the board and actually talked about it and us during the interview. She told the boys that the board was made by us, and they all made sweet/adorable comments. Rian said “Thank you so much @atl_singapore” And because the host gestured with her hand that it was my friends and I who made the board, the boys all looked at us and I took the chance to ask them to pose for a picture. Rian was really sweet, he was the only one who noticed that I wanted to take a picture of them and he asked all of them to look into my camera. This was the result :’)

Alex made a really cute comment saying “They got the names wrong, actually i’m the one with all the muscles” referring to zack’s picture.

Also, Jack wanted to eat our board hahaha

This really was the highlight of Mar 5th for us :’) The boys actually took special notice of us and thanked us! Really couldn’t believe it actually happened!
Besides that, they also had really funny and adorable moments during the interview. Idek why they started hitting each other’s legs but it was really cute and they looked like they were having fun!

There was also a moment where Alex did something so sweet that any hustler would melt right on the spot. I can’t really remember how it led to the topic but Alex ended up proposing to the host with a “ring”

After the interview ended, They forgot to take our board because Rian put it behind the couch and as they made their way out and shook our hands I told them that they forgot our board and Rian ran back to take it, ahhh he is so sweet :’) Some pictures of my friends and I shaking hands with them. I was blocked in both photos :( 1st photo by zack and second one by my friend who’s standing up but it’s okay I can see my jeans haha.

Oh and also, Chua Enlai insta-ed our board too haha :)

The show has not been aired yet but if you guys want to watch the show, there’s more info here on how you’ll be able to do so. (Have to subscribe to some channel etc)
Shall end off Mar 5th with a photo of my friends and I with the special board that is now with the boys (or they might have thrown it away, but it’s okay because at least they noticed us) :’)

Now for Mar 6th! FINALLY it was time for the concert :)
I was really tired because after the Mar 5th taping I rushed back to a chalet and barely got sleep. But adrenaline and my love for them kept me wide awake the whole time :) This time, the concert was held at The Coliseum, Hard Rock Hotel. As my friends and I won M&G, we didn’t have to go early to queue so we reached there at about 5 and made our way to the M&G waiting area. On our way there, we saw the merch booth and wanted to buy a shirt but they said it was closed till 6pm and we already had to go to the M&G waiting area so we couldn’t buy the shirts :(
By the time we reached, the queue was already super long. All the way till the right side of the photo! There really were a lot of people, this time there were approximately 3,000 people who attended the concert as compared to a mere 800 the previous time they held a concert in Singapore.

When we entered to the M&G waiting area, we saw most of the band & crew enjoying the pool and playing ball etc. Here’s a picture of the area, but unable to see any of them as they were at the pool on the left side behind the bushes and the trees.

After waiting for a short while, we were called in to the area where we were going to meet the boys. It was more of like a “press conference” kind of setting instead of an actually M&G session where we had private time with the boys, but nonetheless it was great. :)

Even though the M&G would have been like the 3rd time i’ve seen them for this year (1st, airport + 2nd, taping) i was still shaking. We all queued up to take our poster and take one picture with the boys.
As we walked up to them, my friends and were all thinking the same thing, do they remember us? (since they took notice of us during the taping and even thanked us) so we asked them whether they did and to our delight all of them said yes. They were like “you girls are @atl_singapore right?” and zack said “yes, from the taping yesterday!” with the sweetest smile ever :’) We exchanged a few sentences here and there with the boys then we got hugs from all of them, took our picture and left with contented hearts.
My friends and I with the boys :’)

As we left to the waiting area again, I was really hoping that the doors weren’t open yet so the M&G holders could be in front. We asked the security guard there and he said the doors open at 630pm and we would leave the waiting area to go to the concert area once everyone is done with the M&G. Thankfully, everyone was done just a bit before 630pm and as we rushed off to the concert area, the doors just opened. It was wild everyone was rushing to get in front. The guards didn’t even check my ticket because it was so messy with everyone trying to rush in! We ended up right in front of the barricades at Zack’s side. :’)
Some visuals of before the show while we waited :)

Got bored waiting so we decided to do something lame with our shadows

The stage where Dropbeat Heartbeat and All Time Low played on

Awesome people I went to the concert with :)

Love how all the hustlers at the back joined the photo :)

The crowd was amazing even before the show started. All the small things by Blink-182 and everyone started singing along it sounded amazing. Here’s a video, watching it makes me miss the concert day so much!
Finally, it was time for Dropbeat Heartbeat to come on. They were really good, best local pop-punk band yet. :)
Their setlist for the night (woohoo they played less than three!)

Ro on vocals

Matin on guitars and backing vocals

Shafiq on guitar

Sham on Bass

Andriel on Drums

After Dropbeat Heartbeat completed their set, it was time for ATL to come on! The crowd was going crazy everyone was super excited. They opened with “Somewhere in Neverland” :’) one of my fav songs off their new album “Don’t Panic”.
All Time Low’s setlist for the night

When they were playing Heroes, Jack came over to Zack’s side of the stage and sat on one of the speakers and he recognized us (hopefully) and he threw us his pick. Here’s a video of the whole concert and at approximately 13:10 in the video he threw us his pick :’)

Found too many nice photos of the concert, it’ll be impossible to post all so I’ll just post the nicer ones :)

Danny Kurily’s photo :) I see myself in the far bottom left haha

The amazing crowd :)

MERRIKAT!

At the start of the concert when I arrived at the barricades and saw that there were steps on the other side of the barricades, I already guessed that Jack would get off the stage and stand there at some point in time during the concert, and he did during their last song, Dear maria, wearing a bright purple bra HAHA.

After the concert ended, my friends and I saw DBHB giving out wristbands so we each took one and we’ve been wearing them everyday since the concert :) Once we left the concert area we rushed to the merch booth with hopes that there were still shirts but sadly everything was sold out.
On the brightside, we bumped into friends that we met at previous gigs like the WATIC concert last year. Had a great time catching up with them and taking pictures :)

We also managed to get a photo with Ro and Matin from DBHB :)

After saying goodbye to everyone my friends and I headed off, planning to go for supper. When we were walking out, my friend suddenly screamed and said that Jack tweeted us. We only found out that he tweeted us 2 hours later because we off-ed our 3G during the concert in order to save battery. We all freaked out and screamed and jumped and then sat on the floor in disbelief. He didn’t reply our tweet, he specially TWEETED to us. :’) This was the tweet that he tweeted to us

He was referring to these cards that we passed them during the M&G. Inside the card, we thanked them and the crew and also wrote our twitter accounts

After freaking out, we finally left Sentosa, went for supper and then went home. All extremely tired, but super happy :’)
I think the whole band and crew pretty much quite like Singapore :) Here are some tweets they tweeted about Singapore. Hopefully they’ll come back soon!

Few days after the concert, Jack decides to reply us again making us miss them even more.

Shall end off the post with 2 of my favourite photos of each member of the band :)
Alex Gaskarth, the lyrical genius with the heavenly voice

Jack Barakat, the joker that everybody loves

Rian Dawson, the one who’s the most mature, they’ll probably die without him

Zack Merrick, the most unique one of the band
