Urza raised an eyebrow. If nothing this one showed the potential to be a good librarian. Now that he couldn’t live there it would be nice to have one of those. ”Call her in.”
Scarecrow bot stepped out, a bit nervous. ”Calling Aria the experiemental or Aria the Nightmare. Your interview is now!”
I would have to say that I disagree heavily with that method of playing on principle. I don't see how the game could possibly get much more fun when you limit yourself so much. It would just annoy me missing out on all my favorites due to psuedo random chance. Also not to mention, that pokemon are to be considered like pets, companions right? How are you a better owner/friend if you have to abandon them due to an accident that neither of you had control over? These are my thoughts at any rate...
I guess it gives you a sense of adrenaline, and it makes everything a lot more serious. You have to work harder if you want to keep your companions, and in a way it’s more realistic and how things would kinda be if you were an actual pokemon trainer, because you would run in to different Pokemon based on chance, and may not always stay in one area looking for a certain Pokemon. (Although I doubt your pokemon would essentially die after fainting from one battle)
And as a trainer, I feel like you have the responsibility to take care of your Pokemon and make sure it doesn’t faint in battle, in most cases. and in life, it is hard to move on from events you have no control over, but you still have to, Like when a loved one passes away, it’s not fair but moving on is necessary. c:
I respect both sides to this coin, I just think that Nuzlocke is for people who want a boosted challenge and regular play is also really great.

Do you have something against the religious?
They smell like pamphlets
An interesting thought, but not really my point. My point more along the lines of is it really slut-shaming to express my reaction at the length of said shorts? No where in the original opinion did the author express any regard to how sexually active the wearer of the shorts might be. As to your counter-thought, I don't know who sets the standards of what's sexually enticing and acceptable. You don't hear about from men, because most men I know of, don't wear short shorts, so it's not an issue.
You want to shame women who show too much skin. Why? Are you trying to tell me that “indecency” has nothing to do with sex? Because that’s a pretty tough sell.
Here’s a thing, too. Women in our society aren’t just shamed for being too sexy — they’re also taught that they have to be sexy. Women’s fashion is based around the idea of making women sexually appealing, while paradoxically shaming them for being too sexually appealing. It’s constructed so that you can’t win, and no matter what you where you are defined by your sexuality and how sexually appealing your body is.
Why doesn’t male fashion get this attention? Because male bodies aren’t judged on the same criteria. Men aren’t solely defined by how sexually appealing their bodies are, so we don’t shame men for showing too much/too little skin. We just don’t evaluate men along that axis, at least not the way we evaluate women on it.
So how about this: How about we let people wear what they want to wear, and refrain from calling them sluts/whores/indecent/too sexy/etc.?

You go Tibalt!!
I gotta say, being a dick to people is fun. And the pain is just gravy.
aspiringsorcerer replied to your post: aspiringsorcerer replied to your post: I ODd two…
well there is that I suppose, but is there really nothing better?
Everything that makes it better will kill me. This is the only thing i have control of killing me. I can choose to take just enough to make me happy, not enough to die. Everything else, it will just end me.
aspiringsorcerer replied to your post: I ODd two days ago, and am already back on…
is life really so unstable that drugs are the only option? :/
Not the only. Better than the alternative.

Honestly Marc, I am just glad to talk to you! :) To read what thoughts you choose to express, what reaction you embrace. And all we can do is try. And sometimes I can be a little heavy handed. Thank You, and Good Luck!
Thanks man, and it’s no problem at all. People approach things in different ways, and heavy-handedness certainly has its place (though I don’t mean to accuse you of being exceptionally heavy-handed in saying this). Hope you’re doing well too.
