How do you know you're in love with someone? And how is it different from a crush/infatuation?
From my own experience, the weight in my chest is just indescribable when I’m in love versus infatuated. I become infatuated ALL the time. Beautiful people infatuate and inspire me on a constant basis. Sometimes it makes me so irrational that I think I could fall in love with the person. But I’ve realized that for me to fall in love with someone, it takes SUCH a great amount of much time, patience, and understanding. They both hurt when not reciprocated, but falling in love with someone who can’t do the same is one of the worst pains anyone could endure. I wouldn’t even wish it upon my greatest enemies.
If I’ve fallen in love with someone, it’s because I’ve fallen in love with almost everything about them and accepted the things I may not have agreed with initially. I wouldn’t be able to look at anyone else in a similar light because I’ve been blinded by this person alone. I think the main difference is that I don’t want anyone else because I simply can’t want anyone else.
Thank you for this question.
don't say what the ending is but what are some films with the best twist endings?
The first ones I can think of off the top of my head: Hard Candy, Oldboy, The Life of David Gale, The Others, Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, The Sixth Sense, The Usual Suspects, Psycho, Moon, Planet of the Apes (1968), Soylent Green, The Third Man, Blade Runner (Director’s Cut), Saw, Memento, Se7en, Fight Club, The Departed, L.A. Confidential, Gone Baby Gone, The Prestige, American Psycho, The Wicker Man, The Shawshank Redemption, Tears of the Sun, Mystic River, Fallen, Shutter Island, Life of Pi and Secret Garden.
I think Alien also has a pretty good twist that isn’t a traditional one.
