So I keep hearing about perspective rulers
In the manga “Flower of Life”, one of the characters is elated to find a perspective ruler in an art supply store. “Now I don’t have to tape sheets of paper end to end anymore!”
Google yields nothing, Jerry’s has nothing.

edit2: thanks catharsisecho - it’s also called a “centrolinead”, and that yields more fruitful results. In fact, the first Google result is a blog post by James Gurney that has a scan of a disassembled model.
I’m going to try and make a jerry-rigged version this weekend. So tired of sticking vanishing points way off the end of the table.
