Professor fired for not requiring a $50 E-Book

This month, a much loved professor at the Art Institute of California is being terminated.

The reason?

He refuses to cave to pressure requiring him to force his students to waste $50 to rent an unnecessary E-Book for the sake of school profits.

I’d like to draw some attention to a recent issue at The Art Institute of California - Orange County.

One of our most formidable instructors, Mike Tracy, responsible for the success of many of our animation and game art graduates, has been pressured by the institution and its parent company EDMC to give up his struggle for the students against corporate greed.
