Exactly. The Confederate States of America seceded constitutionally. The Union wanted to keep those states, for their resources, on which the North depended.

Matt Davis says that an uprising is what’s needed to overturn the president’s domestic policy known as the Affordable Healthcare Act. Many Republicans are vowing to overturn this piece of legislation, but Davis has gone further by questioning if an armed rebellion is on its way due to recent bills being passed. This is not the first time the thought of domestic warfare has been brought up. In 2010 Sharron Angle of the Tea Party spoke of “Second Amendment remedies” when debating Harry Reid, a Democrat from Nevada.
