if you’ve never played apples to apples you aren’t living life correctly

I want to play Apples to Apples: Shipping Edition

Here’s how it works: Player x put one character’s name down in the middle (the green card.)

The other players put down the names of other characters that they believe this character would be compatible with/is secretly hopelessly in love with/needs to get married to and start having babies right now/etc.

Player x picks the best resulting ship.

bummed

adj. disappointed, sad, let down

This week I played Apples to Apples with some lady coworkers over our lunch hour. I drew WOEBEGONE and one of the synonyms listed was BUMMED. I cradled the card and whispered, “You complete me.”

My won cards in Apples to Apples were rich, hot, repulsive, powerful, and some others that I forgot and probably don't matter.

Conclusion: I am a high-end hooker.

Apples To Apples

Category Card: “Goody Goody”

My Grandmother’s card: “Rosa Parks”

“Guys, she was a goody goody. She just HAD to do what was right.”

“It wasn’t right at the time…”

“Yeah, it was totally against the rules…”

“No, just because she’s black doesn’t make her less of a goody goody”

Then this argument happened for like 30 minutes.

I love my family.

Jake just suggested that d&d players should try playing a short round of Apples to Apples first and only play till everyone has three green cards, and then the small amount of adjective cards that they won have to describe their character.

I think that’s a good idea. Someone try it.
