Se que a muchas fans les gusta el SIR, pero yo personalmente pienso que ni siquiera debería existir como personificación.
Es decir, si Hetalia trata sobre personificaciones de naciones y si nos ponemos a investigar sobre el Sacro Imperio Romano Germánico, podemos encontrar fácilmente que no llegó ni a considerarse nación, por lo que no entiendo como puede llegar a existir en Hetalia. Lo único que se me ocurre fue que se creó por extensión del GerIta ya que también es muy popular la pareja de SIRChibitalia.Y eso me parece un error muy grande.
Por eso mismo, no lo entiendo, ya que a mi parecer tampoco creo que tenga sentido dicha pareja.

The strip says that the German states that made up the HRE eventually united to become one nation.
However, Hima left out the crucial part: the HRE dissolved before any unity was achieved.
The German Empire was formed several decades after the dissolution.
In Hetalia terms, the HRE would have “died” and been “reincarnated” into Germany, since HRE and Germany share the same general land.
So yes, Germany could very well “be” HRE.
If you think about it, the German Empire was an attempt to rebuild the fallen empire through unification.
But this does not yet mean our ship is 100% canon. We have to wait and see if Germany gets more memories from his “childhood” or “previous life”. Which he hasn’t really, aside from one flashback in the unfinished Buon San Valentino…
