“We once had a chimp who could sort photographs of apes and human beings into two piles. Apes on one pile, humans on the other. The only trouble was, every time she got to her own picture, she put it on the pile with the human beings.”

—Dr. Geoffrey H. Bourne, Yerkes Primate Research Center. Bartlett’s Unfamiliar Quotations by Leonard Levinson, 1971.

This may be stupid but I just want to ask: Do you consider eating monkeys as " cannibalism " ?

No. First off, let me express how much I hate apes, and how truly horrified I am at their existence. They are genital eating monsters who have no purpose on this earth other than to terrify the shit out of me.

Besides that though and to get your question, I do not think it is cannibalism. That is so because apes and monkeys have no perception of the moral implications of such an act, so in their world, it is a biologically sound tactic to execute the eating of a member of their own species. We as humans attribute this word to their actions because it’s the only vocabulary we have for such an act, and in practice, it is anthropomorphism….For the creepy records, I don’t actually condemn the act of cannibalism, and in fact, I think that there are some positives to it. Despite such, I would not recommend it in large quantities. I would recommend it with a wine reduction though.

This picture pretty much sums it up.
