dying at your blog. do you disagree with dan being gossip girl?
I’m so glad it could make you laugh. I’ve been dying of laughter all night to be honest with you! That’s how I deal with the stupid and just overall frustration of this show. ;)
Nope. I honestly do not think he is Gossip Girl. It makes no canon sense to me. My personal opinion is that the GG writers choose “favorites”. Their faves get starring plot lines, etc. while their disliked actors and actresses’ characters suffer. For example, Blake’s character, was pretty much reversed to a spoiled and rotten brat for a big chunk of S4-5. This was during the same time that she was pulling away from Gossip Girl, doing high end films, etc. Taylor’s character had the same issue, too (there were a bunch of reports of her on set issues).
Now it’s Dan’s ~turn~ because Penn isn’t a fave.
Penn also has trashed GG numerous times. IMO, the GG writers are pretentious enough to do something ridiculous and spiteful. Plus, to the GG writers, the “Chair”” fans are the most vocal (UGH) so they cater to them. Same with Derena. Serenate fans have been pooped on for years and Dair gets treated terribly too.
It just doesn’t fit in with canon AT ALL. If anything, I think it was supposed to be Eric, but Connor didn’t want to do more than a brief cameo. Same with Taylor and Vanessa. So they just decided to go en-route with Dan. I mean, they’ve basically been trashing him all of S6 so they thought it was fitting.
Not to mention that the GG writers, are just ridiculous and some of the worst TV writers ever.
There are people on here that are putting you two together in a romantic way...how do you guys feel about that?
