If you are the type of Vegan who doesn’t care about meat eating because you consider yourself a “cool” and “understanding” Vegan, then I hope you trip over a rock and roll down a ditch.

“The relationship of homo sapiens to the other animals is one of unremitting exploitation. We employ their work; we eat and wear them. We exploit them to serve our superstitions: whereas we used to sacrifice them to our gods and tear out their entrails in order to foresee the future, we now sacrifice them to science, and experiment on their entrail in the hope—or on the mere offchance—that we might thereby see a little more clearly into the present … To us it seems incredible that the Greek philosophers should have scanned so deeply into right and wrong and yet never noticed the immorality of slavery. Perhaps 3000 years from now it will seem equally incredible that we do not notice the immorality of our own oppression of animals.” -Brigid Brophy”

Dear Non-Vegans,

I understand that you find it extremely difficult to open up to me. I also understand that you choose not to question your own beliefs.. You’re afraid that you might come across something that you don’t truly believe within your heart. Or maybe you really do think you’re right but it’s extremely upsetting when you take it upon yourselves to judge every single core belief that I have.

I don’t question what you believe or try to put down your ideas so why do you feel that you can do the same to me? I thought the world was progressing into a more understanding future but clearly there are still problems accepting different opinions and lifestyles.

Don’t start a debate with me in a grocery store or any place else that you can guess I’d not be interested. Let me be and I’ll let you be.

If you want to start a conversation in a more appropriate place, by all means, go ahead! I’ll be happy to have a civil conversation with you. I’ll exchange facts on meat eating/dairy consumption for your opinions on meat eating/dairy consumption. It’ll be great fun! Just be sure not to go down the road of judgmental, self righteous remarks- because I promise you, the conversation will end extremely fast.

Now, I’m sure I’ll get Non-Vegans attacking me saying that I’m just as bad as they are for having a blog revolving around Veganism and my opinions on Animal Rights- but the difference between me and you is that I’m on a social networking site that can be easily avoided by those who don’t agree with me. I’m also not going up to you and JUDGING/CRITICIZING your beliefs. I state facts and you choose to react to those facts in your own way.

Just keep an open mind and an open heart. You just might be able to see the things that you’ve been blinded from for so long.

Eat

YOU SICK BASTARD How could you eat the flesh of another being that has the right to being On this earth and has some worth So no matter it’s girth Every being is being And has the right to be and The right to be free and That right belongs to me but Not my bovine brothers and Not their bovine mothers and It hurts that no one seems to care Where they end up As long as it ends in their stomachs But if they look in their hearts they’ll see The terror of the slaughter One after another Lines of death They know what’s going on and It scares them but the Pain in their eyes and the Fear in their hearts doesn’t affect the Price of their thighs or their ribs And if we continue to ignore the cries of the Lambs and the Pigs and the Innocent Cattle We will never learn our lesson and Treat them with respect Just because they’re our food Doesn’t mean They’re lower than us and We can TREAT THEM LIKE CRAP cause when you fill your food with your bullcrap Well you are what you eat

it’s sad how no one responded to my post about wanting to form a rally for animal justice..

of all the people on tumblr, no one in my area cares enough.

animal justice spell

for those that don’t have time to do this animal justice spell tonight, will be doing it again saturday night 8pm eastern if you want to help out!

  • Cierra: OH OH WHATEVER YOU-- what do they call it...you...BLOODMOUTH.
  • Me: It's like you called me a mudblood.
  • Cierra: That's EXACTLY what I thought of.

watching that really makes me want to do things.

does anyone in the chicago area know of any animal justice rallies? or would like to form something and start a protest?

it makes me so sad knowing that such horrible things happen to creatures i occupy this planet with and not doing a damn thing about it except for not participating in the hate and letting others know my beliefs. i’m being totally serious about this. literally anyone who wants to do something around chicago contact me or i’m doing it by myself.
