Last night

in honor of International Women’s Day (and in honor of our love for wine and good romance films), my friends and I played a Jane Austen drinking game to the Emma Thompson version of Sense and Sensibility. My favorites included drinking every time a lady lost her countenance or regained her countenance, drinking for spontaneous equestrianism, and drinking for an inadequate dowry. It was glorious.

God DAMMIT you cannot release a new Brain Scoop AND Lizzie Bennet episode on the same day it just isn’t fair i have a levels to do you know gosh this is all Hank’s fault goddamn Green the younger goddamn him and his ideas

discodamons replied to your postSo, while I wait for the episode to air, and…

Oh, yay, good! It’s amazing :)

I’m just on episode 11 but I’m really liking it. Besides, who can possibly not love a modern approach to Pride and Prejudice? I mean, Jane Austen is a Goddess :)

What do you mean someone is taking classic novels and making them like 50 Shades of Gray.

How do you make 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea erotic?

perfectweathertoflyy replied to your post: Am I the only person on the planet who likes Keira…

i love her so much, she’s amazing and i really do not understand why people hate her

Thank you! I think she’s a great actress and I’ve never understood why people don’t like her either. She’s been amazing in pretty much every film I’ve seen her in. The Duchess is an especially good film, in my opinion.

I’m in a book club now. book clubs are cool.

(I REALLY LOVE MY WHITE TRASH BEDROOM)

I recently moved into the garage and I have a dartboard, a floral print couch and a VCR in there.

It’s fucking fantastic.

I am going to be so poor this Christmas

Why is Gilmore Girls so expensive??

All I want is the complete 7-season boxset and I have to shell out over $300 for it

The cheapest I can find is $160

Ffs

just realised my dark tumblr is quite a juxtaposition with my usually bright and cheerful disposition

maybe this is my inner self’s tumblr

hai inner self

My sister is in town for the rest of the week and when we were eating dinner we got to talking about movies and she said the most interesting thing:

“I don’t understand why people watch movies over and over again”

Now I’m embarrassed about all the times I mindlessly fangirled over a movie to her

I just wanted to say that I love you guys, most ardently.
