Not sure how many people know this but Miyazaki once wanted to do an anime adaptation of Pippi Longstocking in the 70s
but it was dropped because they couldn’t get permission from the original creator

Well this is a pleasant surprise. New Fleet Foxes single released today from their forthcoming album “Helplessness Blues”. It’s exactly what you’d expect. Beautiful harmonies and Dylan-esque lyrics in a stripped bare arrangement that puts the focus squarely on the great writing and Robin Pecknold’s incredible voice.
Definitely a must-check-out. It’s gorgeous stuff.
